Queen sits on the throne

and everyone tries to cope

the riddle she gave to them.

“Find a music long forgotten

that calms child’s tantrum.

At the same time, old man listens

and smiles as eternal footman approaches.

A song which no noble nor commoner reproaches.”

Every singers and bards and poets

presented in front of her majesty.

nobles and commoners made a bet

which one would be praiseworthy

of queen’s gratitude and bounty.

Many men took the challenge

but alas, no one had the song.

But one day, queen’s old nanny

heard the news from noble paragon.

She ran to her majesty’s castle

and she sat and whistled.

It was lullaby she whistled for infant majesty.

Alas, it was her song, only

for her to be sung for

and nobody heard before.
